Art of early Ayutthaya period (15th century) found in Gru of Wat Ratchaburana main stupa (prang) around 1957. Pahurat an ornaments for the upper arm. Known in another name as "Thong Ton Khaen" (Golden arm cuff) This golden Pahurat is encrusted multi-color gems. The upper and lower part is in pointed round shape. Decorative design used are: Lai Kan Kod, Lai Kranok, Lai Dok Jan, Lai Kai Pla, rhombus lotus and floral. |
