|Gilt and Lacquered Buddhist Manuscript Cabinet
The cabinet painted with Kanok designs (Thai designs consisting of double curves) Kinari and Thepphanom figures. This cabinet was built during the Thon Buri Period for containing Buddhist manuscripts. It was originally kept at Wat Mahathat Yuwaratrangsarit and was transferred to the National Museum, Bangkok in 1919 A.D.
